Edward Beiner Announced as Winner of Vision Expo’s Second Annual OPTImum Retail Award

Alexandria, VA – March 23, 2019 – Vision Expo announced Edward Beiner (South Miami, Fla.) as the winner of the second annual OPTImum Retail Award during the exclusive Boutique Buyer Panel at Vision Expo East 2019. The OPTImum Retail Award celebrates independent boutique retailers by allowing them to showcase their products, stores, visions and stories to the entire optical industry.

The winner was selected by a committee of the industry’s top leaders including Dr. Arian Fartash, optometrist and influencer of @glamoptometrist; Christian Roth, eyewear designer and the first Council of Fashion Designers of America member in the eyewear category since 1990; and James Spina, 20/20 Magazine editor-in-chief and senior vice president. Additionally, Vision Expo social media channels were opened for voting from Feb. 5–25 to be factored into the judges scores.

Edward Beiner has dedicated itself to providing customers a meaningful experience through several innovative initiatives including their recently launched Eyes Forward vision. Eyes Forward is designed to promote wisdom, passion and foresight by educating customers and instilling a sense of pride into purchases. Additionally, the launch coincides with the release of an exclusive collection of 3D-printed eyewear designed by Edward Beiner. Rooted in artisanal optical design, the frames fuse the latest materials, technology and style into one product. As Edward Beiner continues to evolve, redesigns of their stores honor the handmade quality of eyewear while allowing it to shine.
