For three decades, the optical community has come together in glamorous Las Vegas to evolve the scope of patient care, ensure business success, build relationships and find inspiration at Vision Expo West. This year, as Vision Expo West celebrates its 30th anniversary, we're highlighting the impact that attending Vision Expo has not only on your business but on the vision community.

Beyond the impact that supporting Vision Expo has on your business, it reflects a commitment to the betterment of the entire industry. Co-owned by The Vision Council, which champions better vision for better lives and positions the vision industry for success through advocacy, research, industry forums, education and consumer outreach, proceeds from Vision Expo are used to fund successful consumer awareness initiatives, most notably Think About Your Eyes. Additional consumer outreach campaigns include digital eye strain and UV protection, and the health, fashion, technological and lifestyle aspects of eyewear.

As a key financial and promotional supporter of the Think About Your Eyes public awareness campaign, The Vision Council is an industry leader in promoting the importance of scheduling an annual eye exam. Think About Your Eyes is supported by a diverse group of companies within the industry, as well as the American Optometric Association and 44 state optometric associations without whom the campaign would not be possible. The campaign generates more than a billion consumer impressions each year through radio, online radio and digital advertising, social media and media relations, driving millions of eye exams and generating millions in industry revenue each year.

From providing the latest eyewear, equipment and education that better the patient experience to funding consumer campaigns that drive eye exams and eyewear sales, Vision Expo's impact can be felt 365 days a year.
