The Recipe To Building The Perfect Personal Brand

Perfecting your personal brand can help you stand out from the competition when searching for a job. Creating your personal brand is like putting together the perfect dish. Use the following 3 “C” ingredients to help build your personal brand.

CHARACTER + CONSISTENCY + CONFIDENCE

Character: This is who you are on the inside. In order to perfect your brand, you have to be true to yourself. This will also help you stand out from competition in the job market. Don't be afraid to just be yourself and different; differentiation is key to personal brand success. “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” – John Wooden

Consistency: This ingredient may seem obvious but it’s important that you remain consistent with who you are. The power of consistency is vital as you are showing others who you are, what you do, and what makes you unique whether it’s on your website, social media platforms, or even your business cards.

Confidence: You can’t build the perfect personal brand without being confident. Conveying a sense of self-assurance will help you in the long run to becoming successful. When we are confident, we tend to be more resilient, optimistic, and better decision makers.

Now that you are familiar with some of the key ingredients, you can start building your personal brand and make sure it’s well seasoned. More importantly, it takes time, dedication, and patience to build the perfect personal brand, but it will totally be worth it one day.
